T H WHITE becomes new UK distributor for Jensen wood chippers

Jensen, ‘the original wood chipper’ has an enviable history of over 130 years of engineering and experience, developing market leading wood chippers. The range is now being distributed exclusively by T H WHITE Machinery Imports throughout the UK.

Jensen has the widest wood chipper range on the market today, providing solutions for the high-end domestic client, ground care professionals, and for the commercial forestry and arboriculture industries across the UK.

Jensen chipper models are available tracked, trailed or tractor-mounted, solving issues with slopes, embankments or difficult terrain. For more challenging projects Jensen provide an innovative service of ‘custom- build’ solutions, often combining Palfinger Cranes or steel conveyor belts to make light work of the most demanding projects.

The best-selling Jensen model for ground care professionals in the UK is the A530L with a 150mm chipping capacity. Featuring synchronized hydraulic feed rollers, complete with adjustable roller speed controls. The A530L is manufactured with robust and efficient German engineering that you can rely on. A powerful 35hp Kubota diesel engine ensures both excellent performance and reliability of this machine, whilst maintaining a chipper weight of sub 750kg.
The launch of the Jensen Spider has enhanced the brand, creating a chipper that can challenge the most difficult terrain. Hydraulic variable tracks allows safe and speedy access, saving professional users both time and money.

This world-class brand will further strengthen T H WHITE’s offering to its ground care dealer network whilst continuing to work with Jensen’s existing four nationwide dealers across other territories. Arbrep Services Ltd at Alton, Dennis Barnfield Ltd at Carnforth, Riverlea at Pembrokeshire and West Wales, and Beaver Plant Ltd at York. This experienced and carefully selected professional dealer network brings a wealth of sale and service expertise to ensure clients purchase the right wood chipper for their intended use and then maintain that equipment for its lifetime.

The new Jensen wood chipper range will be managed from T H WHITE’s Stockbridge branch.

New Jensen A 530 Spider

During the APF show in Alcester (UK) Jensen introduced the new Jensen A530 Spider. The Spider is equipped with a special undercarriage in which the height and width of the caterpillar tracks can be set independently. This results in an excellent adaptation of the machine on steep slopes and difficult to access areas. Especially on railway embankments and nature areas. Until recently the Spider chassis was only available on the heavier A540 (maximum capacity about 19 cm) and now also on the A530 with a capacity of 15 cm. The machine is equipped with so-called sensor buttons for controlling the input system. This sensor buttons contain no moving parts and are extremely user-friendly, 100% secure and virtually error-free.

New Jensen A 530 Petrol

Jensen recently launched the new A530 with gasoline engine on the market. Jensen anticipates the new exhaust emissions that will come into force for diesel engines in this performance class in 2019. Diesel engines are then most likely equipped with diesel particulate filters. These new diesel engines will be considerably more expensive and have larger installation dimensions, which has great consequences for the design. By using gasoline engines which correspond to exhaust gas emissions, these problems will completely disappear. Only fuel costs will be higher. Jensen A530 uses the Briggs & Stratton Vanguard engines with a power of 26,1 kW (35 hp). The capacity is approx. 15 m3/h. The capacity and performance is similar to the Jensen A530 Diesel. The weight is about 700 kg and thereby suitable for drivers with a weight restricted class B driving license.

Jensen new dealers on the British market

We are pleased to inform you that we stopped our business relationship with our long lasting sales partner, the company Redwood Global Ltd.

From the beginning of March 2015, we have been collaborating with four new regional dealers:

  • Arbrep Services Ltd in Alton (Hampshire)
  • Beaver Plant in Stamford Bridge (Yorkshire)
  • J. Davies and Son in Pencader (Carmarthenshire)
  • Dennis Barnfield in Carnforth (Lancashire)

From now on, our new partners are going to deal with machineries as well as with spares. You will get any technical support and information you may need from their qualified staff. Because regional dealers are closer to end users, we have experienced that the communication is shorter and quicker, parts deliveries are faster and we can meet easier customers´ wishes.

Our dealer network in Great-Britain will continue to grow in the coming months and we will keep you informed about new dealers in your area. (see dealer network Great-Britain).

Thank you to trust our new partners as you trust us!
